2 weeks till period.....?

My last period was Jan 27th-30th, but it was 4 days late because I had been stressing over trying to get pregnant....this month we are just having sex every other day. We have been trying to concieve for 4 months now with no luck. My husband and I are ready for a baby after suffering from a miscarriage back in Oct.2009. We bought ovulation kits last night and so I took it but had no surge. Im guessing cuz its past my fertility & ovulation period already?? They say its usually 14 days after the start of your last period. So it doesnt pay i dont think to keep testing...should we just keep having sex every other day, or just wait now to see if I am pregnant? Please help! we are desperate to have a baby in our lives!
