Will Americans fall for Romney's "Tea Party" Patriot Act Farce?

Romney is not part of the Tea Party. Neither is Sean Hannity or any of the other Republican schills you mentioned. The tea party arose as a conservative response to the lack of conservative representation in the Republican establishment. The Republican establishment has been trying to co-opt and use the energy from the Tea Party but it was not born inside the Republican establishment. If anything the Tea Party has forced the establishment to move in a more conservative direction.
