Can a monster power: powerbar 1100 act as a modem.?

i have internet bundled with my cable but my router and modem are downstairs and im tired of bad wireless connection upstairs. i have a monster Power: PowerBar 1100 surge protector and it has cable, hookups and ethernet cord hookups. can i somehow take my cable cord out of my tv and hook it up to that, and hook my ethernet cable to it, as well as my my xbox, and have a good wired connection? if theres any way you might know how please let me know. anything helps.
