How long does it take for an underage drinking ticket to come in the mail?

I received a citation for underage drinking at my college in PA, and blew a 0.115 into the breathalyzer. Instead of arresting me, the cop looked at my license and told me to expect a ticket in the mail. However, it has been almost 2 weeks and nothing is in my mailbox. Was he just saying that to scare me, because the police department is right down the road, and it should only take a couple days for something to get from that building to campus?
