Want Computer To Use Less Power?

You might want to have an electrician check your wall wiring out - maybe you live in an old creaky house with questionable wiring. Right now, I run two full desktop computers at the same time, and a space heater that sucks down electricity like its going out of style on a simple 20 AMP circuit, series in line, so they are all feeding off the same 20 AMPS. So if that says anything to you...I don't think buying an UPS or an AVR is going to change anything - I think its your internal wiring in the house that needs to be looked at. If it is that fragile and cannot handle a single desktop, you might be risking a fire if your mains won't kick out.
