Missing period 20 days after LH surge, but not pregnant?

I am 36 and trying to conceive. I have detected my LH surge on Jan 20. Today is Feb 8, 20 days after detecting my LH surge; I still don’t have my period yet. I did the pregnancy test today and the result is negative. What’s wrong with me? Should I see the OB right away?
