Snowmobile light issues?

the lights on my kawa drifter 440 surge like stay dim then get bright for a second the go back dim and it will do it fast like almost a slow strobe light. and after driving it like that for a while the head light went completely out well it flickers like a blue but it not bright at all nothing else is effected it runs fine and tends to flicker more when i gun it for a second let of then do it again it does it idk i hope you can help
